We are seeking an organized, reliable, and driven cable technician to work as part of our business service team to install, test and troubleshoot copper, fiber and low voltage cable in a commercial environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality service to our customers and being part of a growing team.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test voice/data/coax and fiber optic cables in commercial environments.
• Understanding of 568A, 568B, 6 strand fiber,12 strand fiber, 25/50/100 pair cable.
• Complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner.
• Maintain the company’s high standards of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, and team members.
• Submit all paperwork on time and have a willingness to learn and adhere to company time tracking and reporting software.
• Provides timely response to customer’s and management requests.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
• Perform quality work within assigned deadlines without constant supervision.
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers, suppliers, vendors, etc.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

Physical requirements

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to climb up and down ladders (6 feet routinely)

Additional experience/skills preferred

• 2 years industry related experience
• Must have reliable transportation (preferably a truck) and carry a 6’- 8’ ladder

MUST OBTAIN VALID AZ DRIVER'S LICENSE AND BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE.
